is there such a thing as a external video card?
hey people i have warcraft but my laptop doesant meet the minimum video card requirements and so i was woundering if there is such a thing as a external video card. like i know there are usb external sound cards called the xmod that i am looking into but i need a video card. and for some reason everytime i try to upgrade to crusade instead of the original one because i bought that battle chest thing so i can play as original but i want burning crusade so i can be a blood elf. everytime it starts downloading there is an error about 30 percent through. how can i fix thing and is it because of the video card.
If your laptop has an Expresscard slot, you can get an adapter to add an external video card, or get and Expresscard graphics card. If your laptop has PCMCIA (PCcard or Cardbus), there is an adapter to adapt PCMCIA to Expresscard, THEN you can install an Expresscard graphics card. Otherwise, you're prob'ly out of luck...
