thinking about getting a computer?
ok i have a couple options here, (1) buy a macbook pro, which my friend is telling me to do, (2) buy parts and build a custom computer, or save my money and use for something else.
if im gonna build my computer here is the specs of it:
-Xion 2 Black ATX Mid Tower
-Sony DRU190A 20x DVD RW
-MSI 975X Platinum Intel Socket 775 ATX Motherboard
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz Socket 775 OEM Processor
-OCZ 600W StealthXStream Power Supply
-XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card - 256MB DDR3, SLI Ready, PCI Express, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, Video Card
just looking for a good hard disk? and everything else i pretty much have maxing out my ram (8GB), 22 in LCD. im mostly a multitasker, some video editing here, photo editing there, maybe some gaming, and the rest is just surfing the net. should i stick the mac or just build one?
build it. your specs look good for what your going to be doing, the quad core will let you multi task greatly, and the video card is good enough unless you have high demand gaming or video editing, then i say get a 8800
