High-Definition Ultra HP BrightView Widescreen Display???

I'm customizing a dv9700t series laptop on hp.com and I've heard that the Ultra HP BrightView(3rd option) is too bright. Is that true? Which should I select?

1st-17.0" WXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1440 x 900)

2nd-17.0" WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1680 x 1050)

It really depends on what you are purchasing the for. If you're buying it for gaming/videos, I'd go with the 2nd option.

If you're buying it for word documents etc, I'd go with the cheapest option.

Some people complain about how badly the screen reflects. Meaning, when you look at the screen when the laptop is off, it basically looks like a mirror. People complain that it's useless outdoors.

I like the old matte screens best. If you do get a BV screen and don't care for it, http://www.screentekinc.com can take off that polarizer and put on a new matte screen polarizer...it's an option. GL.
