HELP! Dell Studio XPS 1640 run The Sims 3?!!?
I asked about Dell Studio XPS 1645 but I found Dell Studio XPS 1640 cheaper. The seller says its a:

Yes, you will be able to run the Sims 3. They did a very good job of optimizing the game to run a large variety of hardware. The ATI 3670 will will run the game, however you may need to lower the resolution from (1920x1080) to something lower to have acceptable performance. Running the game at a decreased resolution will make the screen look slightly 'fuzzy' or 'blurry'.
I hope you are not paying too much for the laptop. I would consider $450 to be a fair price because of the small hard drive and Vista OS. Both indicate it is relatively old, but was top of the line when purchased.
