Wanting to know about common LCD monitors and receiving over the air HDTV?

I will be building a new rig pretty soon and one of my goals (if it isn't prohibitively expensive) is to be able to watch OTA HDTV at my workstation. I am new to the HTPC screen and HD in general and am very confused as to whether or not I need an HD ready specific monitor to watch over the air HD content.

I realize I need a tuner/capture card and a good graphics card but I am confused about the monitors. SO - if I get a good HD PCI tuner card does it matter if the monitor is not "HD ready"?

So again - the question is - if I have an HD tuner capture card and a good video card will any widescreen LCD monitor work? Thanks in advance.

The monitors and the graphics card are fine but I would go with one of three brands of HD tuners, Dvico, VBox, or AverMedia.

I have the usb version of the Dvico PCI gold card and love it but I dont use their software I use media center 2005. Their software works fine I just prefer media center.
