Does a working muscle pull energy from the closest fat cell?
I'm am curious if there is any fact to the idea that when a specific muscle is working it will pull the energy it needs from the closest fat cell or at least its immediate area. Let's say that I look into belly dancing which concentrates on the abdominal core. When I'm using my abdominal muscles, is the working muscle most likely to pull the energy required from the surrounding fat deposits versus other areas on my body. I know there will be some pull from all over to feed the supporting muscles and the hearts increase in rate. But will concentrating an aerobic exercise to one area of the body help burn the fat of that area?
Fat is stored so before muscle uses fat it uses carb and sugars as energy...as long as you eatthose things, the fat is not burned at all and generally your body burns fat in smaller areas first and larger areas last
