Question about video card for a computer system I'm building...?
I'm looking to buy a video card for a computer system I'm building from scratch and would like to ask what specs I should be wary of before I buy.
I'm going to be running an AMD 64x 5600 processor. I'm using a DVI monitor also. I'm not a HUGE gamer, but will be running some games
I'm aware of PCI express slot on the mobo but am more concerned with video card specs like Direct X, the chip set, Memory size on the card, cooling issues, etc. If you need more info to answer, please let me know. Thanks.

Any video card from the 8600gt(Nvidia) or Ati(and above) cards have support for DirectX10.The 8600GT has this also and runs all the latest games having 256 or 512 Mgb ddr3 on board.

AMD 64 Athlon 64X2 6000+ and the cards come with a cooling fan anyway.You may need to upgrade your PSU to get the most out of your system.
Sorry PSU=Power Supply Unit,make sure this is at least 450Watts or above.
