What is a EVDO PCMCIA card or a EVDO USB adapter for a Laptop?
I asked a question before saying what do I need in order to have internet acess wirelessly wherever I am at and someone told me to get a EVDO PCMCIA card or a EVDO USB adapter. But the problem is I dont know what it is and where to get it from. I really need this answered ASAP so if you please answer.
It's basically a cellphone for your computer. Technically it's a "cellular modem". Any cellphone company should have one but plans (minutes/data allowed), cost, and coverage will vary.
If you already have cellular service ask your provider about them, you may even be able to use your existing phone as a cellular modem.
