I saved files on my desktop on my old hardrive, how do I find them?
I saved files on my desktop on my old hardrive, now I have my old hardrive hooked up to my new computer using an IDE USB adapter so my hadrive shows up as F. The only files I can find on it are the program files/my documents and other folds that where there..The folders I saved on the desktop, I cant find them.
Where would they be located? First answer thats right gets best answer.
with any luck you will find them in the following folder on the old drive (f)
f:Documents and Settingsyour account nameDesktop
where 'your account name' is whatever your old windows account was.
