Which wireless connection would work best with an old Windows 98 notebook computer?
I have an old Dell Inspiron 3200 notebook computer and I would like to use it for wireless internet access at public places, i.e., coffee shops, airport, etc. Which wireless cardbus would be the best to use? I also have a USB port. I have Windows 98SE.
Well I have used several in the Dells and they have all worked, I have a link sys card in one now I originally set up with win 98SE and it worked flawlessly. I decided to upgrade to XP and due to restrictions on the amount it will hold slowed it down. Make sure you get a card with the driver files.
