rear sway bar or front tower strut brace?
i'm currently installing a coilover suspension on my mitsubishi lancer, i am interested in both of these additions. My car currently has a 10mm (ie tiny) rear sway bar. Which addition (the tower bar or sway bar) would give me more handling bang for my buck? will they sacrifice even more ride quality if i install them (as the coilovers will sacrifice a lot of ride quality anyway)? will both of them together negate each others peformance addition to my handling?
The larger rear sway bar will be noticeable if you actually are pushing the car in cornering. Don't forget the front sway bar too, but I am not sure what options are available for your Lancer. The tower bar will be noticeable if you are really pushing both power and cornering. I think you notice little difference with and without the tower bar otherwise.
