Which CPU Cooler should I buy?
Which heatsink should I buy? I'm looking at either the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185125) or the Thermaltake TMG IA 1 (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=4197087&sku=T925-1288&srkey=TMG%20IA%201) for my AMD Phenom II x4 965. I'm currently just using the stock cooler, and I'd like to upgrade to something a little more substantial. Which would you recommend, or is there a better choice in the same price range?
I forgot to mention that a balance of performance and noise is important. The main reason I'm thinking about switching is because the stock cooler is ludicrously loud, but I also want my machine to stay as cool as possible.
I would go with the first one, just because I use similar ones to this on my machines with no problems. The thermaltake has an odd design and I can't say that that kind of design will cool your system properly.
