Citrolpram - Is there another way??
I've suffered from depression since I can remember, and have been switched in the last 2 years from Seroaxt to Citrolpram, since then I notice that my hair which used to be curly, long, glossy and in really good condition, has now changed to dry, dull, lost all curls and looks like straw, and stopped growing!!! I came off them for a while during a stay in hospital and my hair has suddenly reverted back to it's old self and has grown over an inch in length. I'm in need of my tablets but for vanity only I'm desparate to find an alternative drug. I have tried St Johns Wort and It's not strong enough. Help!!!!
I have taken both Citalopram and Seroxat with devastating results and can no longer tolerate drugs like them. I suffered from depression for over 20 years until I had six sessions of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Since then, two years ago, I have not been depressed even once. I have felt close to it sometimes, but now have the resources to cope with it and can actually stop it from hapenning, which was something I never could do before. I cannot recommend it highly enough, it may not have the same results for everyone, and I am certain that my faith as a Christian helped in this somewhat (although I had been a Christian for many of those depressive years). It may not cure your depression, but it may be very useful in finding better ways of coping with it and it won't affect your hair. Best of luck, and God Bless.
