what should be done when switching a low power lens lens to a high power lens?
this has to do with a microscope it asks what should be done when your switching a low power lens to a high pwer lens? thanks!
First on the low power lens use the coarse adjustment knob to focus on your substance. Once you've found your subject on low go to high. Make sure you have a coverslip over you substance and make sure your high powered lens doesn't hit the coverslip and substance because it will break it. Next use the fine adjustment knob NOT THE COARSE ADJUSTMENT KNOB to find your substance. Hope this helps!
