How do I determine if my Swiss Army watch is authentic?
The watch looks authentic at first. It is a ratcheting type with a stainless steel band. One of the things that makes me think it is not real is that on the band, it has "Hong Kong" stamped into it. The guy I bought it from says that Swiss Army does use bands from Hong Kong.
Many expensive watches now get their bands from China, but to truly tell if your watch is a genuine Swiss watch , one has to remove the back. If it yodels, it's real!
