How do you speed up a printers print job?
I have an HP laserjet 6M printer, been using it for some time. I recently purchased a new hp computer (xp) & a usb to parallel cable(since the new computer had no parrallel port). I installed it fine, did a test job. However, now it takes forever to print simple word files that are not large at all. I would say about 6 minutes! I see the print jobs show up in the queue--and under the "size" tab it shows the file loading up to at least 1 MB and then it prints sometimes or not at all. Please any help I will be gratefull, thanks.
Get a new printer.
