how to take expansion slot covers off back of PC?
I just bought a new dual slot video card for my gf's PC. But at the back, 2 of the expansion slots (where you put video cards etc.) are covered and I can't seem to get the covers off. The one where I put the video card is fine and open but the one above, which I need since its a dual card, is covered.
They seem to be physically attached and also have a picture of a screwdriver on them, but there's no screws.
What can I do? Do I have to physically remove them?
If they have screws, the screws will be inside the case. If there are no screws, they need to be physically poked out. These are called knockouts and can be knocked out with a gentle tap with a screwdriver.
