How much hard drive space and ram does a forum server need?
My clan is currently using an invisionfree, and we were planning on upgrading, but didn't realize it costed so much. So I want to host the forums on one of my old PCs. How much hard drive space and ram would be needed? Also, is a regular home DSL connection fast enough?

How frequent is your forum? If it's just a regular forum with a few threads and blogs, I would recommend a few terabytes of space and at least 4gbs of ram. You will need that since you are going to keep your computer on 24/7.
