How much storage and power capacity is required to be a server?
A web host and domain name provider needs a lot of storage capacity to handle and host web sites. What is the minimum?
For 1 website 10-20 GB storage and 0.5-1 GB memory will be fine but the more you got storage and memory, the better.
Are you talking about hosting server at home?
Try Apache server and you could host website on your computer.
But if you create website and if you like to run your website 24/7 from your computer, you will have to switch on your computer all the time and it may damage your computer in the long run.
