Did someone hack my iPod touch?? PLEASE HELP!!!!!?
I have a jailbroken iPod touch and I installed Veency on it so I can control my iPod with my computer. As I was charging my iPod on my computer, I had noticed that the screen had come on and Veency was asking me if I wanted to accept or deny the incomming connection. Of course I denied it but i had unplugged my wifi access point and i guess my ipod had connected through the free wifi that AT&T provides us in our neighborhood, so is there any way that the hacker could have came in through the wireless network to my ipod or through my computer?? Is this real or just a bug?? Please help I need to know quickly. Also, if it has to do with my computer, please provide me with a GOOD anti-virus protector that will monitor and guard ALL incomming connections please? I already have Avast home edition but I dont think that is enough.

Basically you are allowing remote access to anyone on that public access point, or even possibly the internet. It's not hard to believe that someone would try to break into it. There is actually a new "worm" that scans for jailbroken Iphones running SSH (remote access protocol) and logs in with the default password. Veency runs on the VNC protocol which is pretty insecure. The only things you could really do is set a strong password, or stop using VNC all together.
