why is my cpu usage so high?
ok i have a sager np9860 laptop gaming but i do not use it for that i use it for school work and music downloads and well i do have latest software like window ultimate and norton on it ok her is a little of my laptops characteristics
its rating is 4.4
processor: Intel(r) pentium 4 CPU 3.60GHz
memory RAM: 2.00 GB
system type: 32- bit Operating System

It can be one of many cases: Norton is running background scans, there are many programs running in the background, or if you are a Windows Vista user it's hogging a lot of RAM.
