NVIDIA reveals his successor Fermi: Kepler to 28nm in 2011, in 2013 Maxwell
Not a lot of details, which can be obtained, NVIDIA but I want you to know Fermi not be a company, all, all the end GPU hundreds of engineers are already hard at work on Codename Kepler, it is expected to produce this year and ship in 2011. Kepler based on the 28nm process, we are told, and fortunately it seems about 3 to 4 times the performance per watt compared with Fermi, and hopefully run cool. If the last PC built to last, but you can wait for the Maxwell in 2013, allegedly placing sixteen fold increase in parallel based graphics just two years after that, including advanced features such as the ability of an independent process, some of the content independent of the CPU.
Update: Does this mean the plan is to be expected of new NVIDIA GPUs, every two years? Jen-Hsun Huang did not want to but said that there would be mid-life kicker marketing in the meantime, each new NVIDIA chip to keep the wheels turning.
