Replacement Top
Where should I get replacement top for my convertible?
I have a 1992 Toyota Celica and would like to replace the top. Am I better off ordering it online and installing it myself or should I just pay someone to do it all for me? I am willing to do the work, but I want it to look good and be well sealed.
Any vendor recommendations (either online or in the Denver area) would be great.
I am thinking I want vinyl (instead of canvas) because I live in Colorado and it will be more weather resistant but I am open to advice on that point as well.

I haven't replaced one yet myself, but I will doing my own when the time comes.
If you're fairly handy mechanically, it should take about a day. It usually involves some drilling, riveting, and removal of parts (seats, rollhoops) to get access.

I would think a shop would charge you at least eight hours of labor. I would expect a local shop to charge at least $50/hr, so that give you an idea of what you'll be charged.
