Any way of increasing video ram on Toshiba Satellite L10 laptop?
I have 1gb RAM in my Toshiba Equium (Satellite) L10 laptop and the Intel graphics share the ram, however even with this amount of ram I have it seems that when I go to info for the Intel driver it says maximum memory 64mb. Cant i get that up to 128mb or 256mb seeing as I got 1gb RAM in the system? - its loaded with XP pro service pack 2 by the way, latest Intel driver loaded, latest Equium BIOS updated. In fact in the BIOS the maximum you can set the graphics memory is 32MB 
I might not of explained myself too good. I realise that you cant add any more memory modules to the video card but what I was thinking is that if its sharing main memory of the computer - say if you put 1gb RAM in the computer you would think that you could select more than 64mb allocated to share with the onboard graphics card.

The graphics memory is seperate from the main RAM that your laptop uses.
Even though you can increase the system RAM by adding more SODIMMs, it is not possible to do this with your video RAM as the memory is soldered directly to the motherboard.
Most laptops have un-upgradeable graphics chips which are integrated onto the main motherboard.
It is possible to upgrade, but this would mean finding a higher spec motherboard and swapping this out with your current board. This is an expensive option and should only be undertaken by somebody who has the relevant technical knowledge.
Really, the best option is to save your cash and put it towards a new higher specced laptop.
