Car speakers in home help?
I need some info on how i would do this, i have the products, i just need an expert to check my work.
Products that will be used in the setup.
A-Power AK 680W 20+4-pin ATX PSU w/SATA & PCIE
Sony 600 Watt 4/3/2 Channel Car Audio Amp Amplifier XMGTX6040 RB
Two Sony Xplod speakers, Max 400W, Rated 200W
Two Pioneer speakers, Max 100W, Rated 20W
Standard Y split with headphone jack end
About 16ft of speaker cable
Two large housings for the Xplods, two wall mountable housings for the Pioneers.
I just need to know if that setup will work, not for extremely loud playing, just moderate level music/tv and a simple surround sound "like" effect.

Car audio is not ideal for home use. They are designed for small area and the speakers are designed for short throw. Beside that the are designed to operate on DC (direct current), which you will need to power the amplifier. Your source of, say a blu ray disc player has a different signal coming out than that of a car audio. You are not going to get the same sound effect like your car if used in a home. I would not recommend doing this at all. There are many system out there that can out shine your car audio in a home, even those home theater in a box. Hope this will help you out.
