Removing Power Supply from Gateway LX6200-01! Help?
I'm removing the default 400w power supply with a 600w power supply, i've disconnected everything but some wires from the old power supply run under the mother board and they are stuck under there and i can remove them.. anyone with this computer know how to sucessfully remove the power supply?
You're telling me gateway made it so i cant install a new power supply? are you kidding?
Are you sure the cables run under the motherboard? I've looked at images of that system with the side panel removed and the cables are routed through cutouts in the motherboard tray.

If you remove the other side panel you should be able to remove the cable that connects to the hard drive, if that's the one you mean.
