What are sings of a fault on the following components? motherboard,cpu,power supp,ram,HDD,cdrom?
May I have a detailed info on each hardware, e.g if a ram is not working the pc won't display...
Ok,
Motherboard & CPU: Usually windows will not start and when you turn your computer on it wilkl display an error message or you may get the "Blue Screen of Death"
Power Supply: The computer will not be able to support things like External HDD's plugged into it or as i said in one of your other questions the CD Drive will cause the computer to shut down.
RAM: While windows is starting it will display an error message saying something along the lines of your RAM not being sufficient or faulty.
HDD: Your Hard drive will make a funny noise or the computer will not start at all.
CD ROM: If something is wrong with your CD Drive then it will just plain not work. It will either not oprn or if it does open and close with a disc in it it will not read it.
