Nothing connected to my power strip will turn on.?
I have a home computer, printer, and TV plugged into one power strip. I left the computer on, in working condition about an hour ago, and when I came back to the room, the power had been turned off. The first thing I tried was the power button on the monitor. Nothing happened, so I checked the back of the computer as well as the power strip. Everything was plugged in correctly. I then tried turning on my TV and printer. Neither worked. I called Dell customer service, and they could find nothing wrong with the computer itself, and insisted that I change the power strip. I do not, at the moment have the availability to do this. I inspected the power strip again and found that the main switch was ON, but there was no green light indicating function(this is the kind of power strip I have). I am worried and need answers quickly. Please help.
There could be a break in the cable connecting the power strip to the mains or the switch or fuse attached to the power strip (if any) might be defective. Try to find the problem yourself !!
