I have Windows XP and my computer runs very slow. How do I know which port I am support to be using? HELP : )
I've already defragmented and deleted cookies/history (temp files). I also copied files on disks and deleted them on my computer in hopes any and all this would help. I computer illeriate when it comes to ports and I occasionally get a message saying to use another port to speed up usage.
I don't see how ports can even bother your speed. The speed is judged by processor type and speed and by the amount of RAM.
If you have Norton's Antivirus on your computer, remove it, you will be surprised how much faster you computer will be.
