How do I get the data off of an old Power Mac 6100 SCSI hard drive?
My first college computer was a Power Macintosh 6100/60. It was pretty awesome at the time but now just sits in my closest collecting dust. I want to recover all the files from the hard drive and then recycle the machine.
The monitor port is dead so I'm thinking the best way to get the files is to remove the drive and somehow connect it as an external to my MacBook Pro. The old internal drive is SCSI with 50 pins. What is the cheapest and easiest way to do this?
Here's a site with some specific specs on the drive if needed:

The easiest way to get the information (by information I assume you mean word documents, spreadsheets, etc.) off of the drive is to find an external SCSI to USB adapter. There are several available on eBay:

The alternative method is long and drawn out and may cost you more than the adapter.
