PCI Modem?
For my Sony Vaio desktop, in device manager, PCI Modem is listed under "other devices" or something and it has a yellow question mark and a small yellow exclamation point next to it. I accidentally deleted it. What driver do I need to get it back? Also, what is a PCI Modem? I use cable, so does that have anything to do with it?
1st find your make and model number of your desktop. then click here http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-system.pl?DIRECTOR=DRIVER&ref=http%3A//www.sony.com/index.php . enter in the information and then find your pci modem driver. download it and install it. a pci modem is a dial-up modem connected to your computer. it sits sideways. to better understand click here http://www.webopedia.com/ and you should get your answers.
