About Dell Inspiron laptops?

Ok I'm thinking aboout getting a inspiron for christmas... Are they good laptops? Only answer if you have one or if your a computer specialist. Also if I do get one, is pacific blue the light or dark blue.. My guess is that it's the dark blue?
Well there was an ice blue to but they don't have it in stock, so I need to know which one it is....

im sure some dells are good as long as u dont move it alot ive had rouble with dells and toshibas where the power conecction to the mobo comes lose and will not charge any more and pacific blue is a light blue
