Is it possible to restore data from a laptop that has just been restored to its original state?
Ok...So my friend just accidentally restored my laptop to its original state. I lost EVERYTHING, except for the things that came with it (ie. the operating system and a whole bunch of other programs). I really need to get back a few documents and pictures he had deleted. Is it possible, to get them back? Please i need help.
Possible? Yes.
Cheap? No.
You either need a very good file recovery program that can restore formatted files or a very good file recovery company that will do it for you. Both of which aren't cheap. If those files aren't incredibly valuable, it's better to just cut your losses.
You could always beat up your friend to make you feel better.
