can i get a usb corded optical mouse to work on an older pc?
I have an older PC (Pavillion 502n) The mouse is connected at the rear with an old 6 prong type socket. I would like to replace it with a corded optical mouse, but all the models seem to use USB cables. Can I connect a new mouse to the USB port in front of the PC? If so will I need new drivers? The PC is running XP
Yes, it can... as long as the USB port works fine and the same version as the mouse ( 2.0 )... hope this helps...
