One Socket
How come when I turn my headphone cable in the socket it goes out in one ear?
When I turn it, it goes out in one ear facing a certain direction in the socket? What's wrong it's kind of annoying when it's bouncing around in my pocket. Is it the headphones or something inside the device (phone) that's making it go out in one ear when I turn the cable in the socket?
What's a fix?
They are 3.5 mm headphones going through a 3.5 to 2.5 mm adapter for my phone so if anything it would be the adapter not headphones.
It's the jack.
The contacts on cheap connectors from the honourable far east quickly lose their springiness.
A competent repair man should be able to change it quickly and cheaply.
