What is the most powerful *NVIDIA* video card that would run in a Compaq case?

I may get a larger case and power supply eventually, but for the time being my limiting constrains are the 250W PSU and a fairly minimal amount of legroom (I currently have an 8600GT in there with about an an inch of length to spare).

Oh, I almost forgot to mention. My motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot.

None. Above the 8800GT the cards get alot longer. But i wouldn't recommend the 8800GT because of two reasons. 1 it's a discontinued item. 2 and its really long. That card is really a great card its not that long ether i think check the dimensions on it. But you don't need that extra power supply boost to power it up it runs straight from slot and its a very good card too i gave it to my friends computer and he can runs Far Cry 2 on max settings and he can also run Crysis on high settings as well but not enthusiast level tho.....But still very great card =)
