What does a new model Kindle do that a cheaper netbook or notebook full computer cant do?
I have never used an Amazon Kindle but looking at their prices I see that they cost as much as some Notebook computers and they are more expensive than a lot of netbooks. What does a Kindle do that a comparable price notebook computer does not do? It seems to me that a cheaper netbook or notebook can do all that a KIndle would do but so much more. Please advise if you have experience with a Kindle.
It is designed for portable reading, just like MP3 or iPod instead of netbook. I own the Kindle 2 and I like it very much. If you like to read, I'll say it is definitely a must have.

There is also a good news from Amazon that they just put a price slash on the Kindle 2, and it is now selling $100 cheaper than the price I got my Kindle...
