Will my computer catch fire?
To make a long story short I have wedged a cotton bud in between my northbridge heatsink and the motherboard, this was the only way to make my computer start, I guess there wasn't enough pressure on the lower part of the heatsink connecting with the motherboard.
It seems fine so far but is this going to be safe and if not how should I fix the problem permanently? thanks.
P.S Before anyone asks this is seriously not a joke, I really did fix my computer by wedging a cotton bud in it.
I would replace it with something nonflammable that would do the same thing.
