Is there a good motherboard for the Intel Q9550?
I have searched all through forums and checked reviews but i cant seem to make my mind up on one. I would like to try SLI but im reading that its better off just buying a higher end card like a gtx285 or 295. Obviously i looked into Nvidia 750i and 780i but just by reviews it seems really up ad down so i have doubt now. Im just really lost here, motherboard is really important.
I know searching for motherboards is very complicated. The board I bought when I built my system was the Asus P5K. It can handel the 1333 MHz front side bus and it uses the Intel P35 chip set and can support all the latest processors such as the Quad core 45nm processors. I'm using the Q6600 2.4 GHz Quad Core on it and it works very well, I haven't had a problem with it. It also can support up to 8 GB of RAM, i'm currently using 4 GB.
