What is the best graphics card for an ASUS A7N8X motherboard, would a Radeon HD 4650 work?
Im trying to find out if an ASUS Radeon 4650 EAH4650 graphics card would work with my ASUS a7n8x motherboard and if it would not, then what would be the best one that would?
That's an older motherboard which has an AGP video slot instead of PCI-Express x16.

The best card you can buy for that motherboard is the AGP version of the Radeon 3850 or Radeon 4670. The 3850 is slightly faster but requires more power (450W power supply) while the 4670 can run on 350W. The manufacturer's recommendation of 400W is way overstated. The 4600 series cards are very low power consumption and most people can even run 4650/4670 cards on stock 300W power supplies.
The AGP Radeon 4650 also works, but is roughly half the speed of those 2 cards.

Unfortunately, AGP cards are more expensive than PCI-E versions, so you'll have to spend about $25 more for the same level of performance.
