where can i get a laser light interlock safety switch?
I got a laser light for my band but it needs a thing called a interlock safety stop switch.
Can anyone tell me where I can buy one please.
I've googled it and looked on Ebay and can't find one.
The laser does have a interlock connector I just need the the stop switch that fits it.
I take it by the first answer that I will have to get an electrician to do this.

This refers to a set of switches that can instantly stop the laser in case of a problem. You may have to have a licensed electrician create a box for you, with a socket to plug the laser in, a plug to a power source, and at least one (usually more than one) switch on a long cable that can be used by a property/safety manager to shut it off. The switches are normally closed, and when pressed (typically large red buttons) open the circuit to cut the power. The best ones require the main power to be cycled to prevent accidental re-activation.
Check the laser documentation. It may have an interlock built in and you may only have to have some switches wired to it...
