Light Pollution Prevention In LED Screen Design
The LED screen has been seen as energy saving and environmentally-friendly since it has hit market, however, as the LED screen has been more and more popular, light pollution is mentioned by users, is the screen light polluting?
Light pollution has been classified into three classes. The colorful light in the LED screen has made uncomfortable feeling to the customers and should be seen as light polluting. Therefore, the issue must be taken into consideration when designing LED screens. There are some reasons that caused the light pollution. First is that the screen is sometimes too big so that it has not a good visual effect. Second is that contents played on the screen are too commercial that people tend to refuse to see. Besides, the too much lightness of the screen will cause fatigue of the eyes.
To solve the problem, several solutions are available: first is to have the screen set properly according to distance and surrounding requirement instead of large screen and conspicuous locations; second, as for the contents such as the public service advertising is the best choice so that the public will not have feelings of tire; next is the color procession technology, the improved technology will enable people to have a better visual experience.
There is big change in lighting according to different time and places, if the lighting of the screen can not adjust its surroundings, the eyes will feel uncomfortable, especially in daytime and night. So the automatic light adjusting system should have function of automatic adjusting to avoid lighting pollution.
