Which of these 3 lighting systems would work best for my 55 gallon salt water?
My local pet store sells basically 3 lighting systems that work for salt water fish tanks, but i dont know what one i want to put on my tank!
1) Coralife Aqualight HO T-5 Dual Lamp Aquarium Light Fixture

I am just wondering what one is the best! i have the GLO T5 HO for my 29 gallon fish tank and it looks great, i just want to know for this tank if i should change lighting or buy the same one!
Will i have to get a 48" one or just a 36" one for a 55 gallon?
Either of the T5s are great lights that will work for most corals other than high light corals like most SPS. If you want high light corals, get at least lighting with a 250 watt halide.
I like Corallife as a company as they have decent customer service. I love CurrentUSA which makes a similar light as they have some of the best customer service I have experienced with a manufacturing company.
I am not a fan of the LED systems as reef lighting but they are nice for fish only tanks.
You should get the 4 foot light for a 55 gallon unless you want the edges of the tank a little dim for low light corals. It is also hard to mount the shorter light on a tank unless you hang it or mount it in a hood as the legs do not reach the end of the tank and it doesn't sit properly on its legs.
