How can I get Windows 98SE on a Windows 2000,XP network? PLEEEEEEZE HELP!?
I have a Pentium 150mhz Toshiba Tecra 520 laptop and that's all I can afford at the momnent. It works ok and has a good battery. That's a Toshiba for ya! However, the Pentium Processor is freakin' old! IT CAN run Windows ME or 2k, and those work on the network, but it is UNBEARABLY slow! Click on a app. walk off, eat, take a test, the program will be loaded by then. Win98SE runs pretty well on the Pentium. I have drivers installed for my PCMCIA ethernet card and I have drivers for my USB flash drive. I thought it'd be a peice of cake to get this bad boy online, but I was wrong. Regardless of what I do, nothing works. My blood preasure is going up and I can't afford a new LAppy right now, so if you know what to do, PLEEEEEEZE help me!

well I don't know alot about win2000 but I know on xp you can use the xp disk in your older computers and it will install what is needed to connect them all, really easy, just insert and follow what it tells you.
