Many factors determine battery life and therefore there is no correct estimate. It all depends on the following: how bright you keep your screen, what you do on it mostly (word processing, web browsing or playing music, videos, and games), etc. Basically if your processes take more resources, like running a hard drive more often and making your CPU run more, you will have less battery life. Also, keep in mind, even if you treat the battery well, there can and will be some battery loss each year.
