Inverter Bracket
Does anyone know how to wire a "tote-a-volt" power inverter to a vehicle?
I just got a "tote-a-volt" power inverter as a gift, but I have no idea how to wire it to my truck. It's about 10 years old, so I can't find any info about it online. I know it hooks up to the alternator and battery of any vehicle, but that's all I know.
There is a large black and a large red wire that have brackets on them, a medium sided grounding cable with a bracket (green), and then there are 5 smaller wires without brackets on them. Any help would be appreciated. 
I have a tote-a-volt Model 260 ITVR that is about 25 Years old. It's especially for GM alternators with internal transistorized voltage regulators.
