What Type Of Ribbon Cable Do I Need To Connect A Replacement Optical CDRW Drive To A HP DV6000 pavilion laptop?
It is an identical replacement of the same internal optical cd rw drive w lightscribe the HP Pavilion DV6000 comes with as standard i am trying to install, but the ribbon cable the old optical cd rw drive was connected to is split (broken), so i cant install the new replacement drive untill i buy a new cable to connect the internal cd rw to the inside of my HP Pavilion DV6000 Laptop.....Problem is i dont know the name of the cable i need to buy, it has to be compatible with the hp dv 6000 and the standard optical drive for that laptop......Any help here is much appreciated .....Ive got a replacement drive but no working cable and no clue on what cable to buy.........Could anybody help me out here????? If it's a ribbon cable, then you need an IDE cable.
