do i need an extra videocard to hook up an extra monitor to my imac intel core 2 duo?
I have 128MB VRAM and 2GB of RAM. Also I want dual monitors, not mirroring.
Your iMac has a miniDVI port. You can connect an external monitor to that using a miniDVI-to-DVI or miniDVI-to-VGA adapter (depending on what the monitor has) and drive it independently.
You need to buy the adapter separately from Apple.
