Is Ultra ATA100 compatible with IDE?
I have an (old) computer that uses an IDE interface for it's hard drive. I want to replace it.
Would this hard drive be compatible with my IDE interface? :

It list it's interface (look under the "specs" tab) as "IDE Ultra ATA100". Is there a single type of interface called "IDE Ultra ATA100" or are these TWO DIFFERENT interfaces (i.e. IDE AND Ultra ATA100)?
ANAGAh.
They are the same interface. ide is also known as ATA133 because it runs at 133mb/sec. ulra ata is just an ata line running at 100mb/s
They are backwards compatable.
