I have a Compaq laptop that I want to hook up to a Compaq monitor?
So I dropped my laptop, and broke the hinge off of it. It worked fine for a while, and all of a sudden when I turn it on it has gray stripes that won't go away. So I connected it up to another Compaq monitor, and the Windows Xp loading thing pops up a few times, and then the light on the monitor goes from green to orange, why is this?
not too sure but try booting up the laptop while connected to the monitor and or turn the monitor back on when it goes orange
what type of compaq laptop is it?
